E-Commerce Marketplace Manager
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic E-Commerce Marketplace Manager to lead our online marketplace operations. This role involves strategic oversight and hands-on management of site functionality, inventory, online marketing, and product merchandising. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive marketplace initiatives that exceed customer expectations and achieve revenue targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Operations Management: Develop and implement marketplace strategies, manage forecasts, manage inventory and analyze performance metrics to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Site Operations Oversight: Conduct daily maintenance tasks, including updating listings, inventory management, managing promotions, and ensuring optimal site performance across various platforms such as Amazon.
  • Merchandising Excellence: Craft and execute a merchandising strategy that aligns with company standards and adapts to business needs, ensuring a fresh and engaging product presentation.  Look for opportunities to expand the assortment with products that offer differentiation versus the competitive set.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Plan and execute marketplace promotions, manage digital marketing strategies, and optimize SEO to drive growth and enhance visibility.
  • Inventory and Buying Strategy: Oversee inventory plans to match sales forecasts, identify new marketplace channels for expansion, and manage replenishment processes.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Enhance customer relationships through effective marketplace engagement and review customer service reports to improve process efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5+ years in E-commerce management, preferably with exposure to Amazon, eBay, Target+, Google Shopping, Walmart, and other marketplaces.
  • Skills: Proficient in E-commerce marketing, digital sales strategies, web technologies, analytics, and content management systems.
  • Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset, strong project management, and analytical skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Preferred: Experience in Home Electronics and accessories within an E-commerce marketplace setting.
